Rudnik company receives a prize for contribution to the local community

On March 24th, VIRTUS awards for philanthropy were awarded at the Cultural Centre Hall. Trag Foundation, with the support of the European Union and the Charles Stewart Mott Foundation, awards each year the awards to business entities and individuals who, in the most effective, efficient and long-term way, supported activities or actions focused on the common good with the aim of promoting and stimulating philanthropy in Serbia.

The independent jury of VIRTUS, consisting of Katarina Obradovic Jovanovic (Ministry of Economy), Robert Coban (Color Press Group), Ana Toci (Council of Foreign Investors), Radojka Nikolic (NIRA Press) and Nenad Blagojevic (“Stories with Soul” portal) decided to grant the award in the category for the Contribution to the local community in which the company operates, to Rudnik doo company and flotation.

VIRTUS Award for the contribution to the local community in which the company operates is assigned to a large company with over 250 employees, which was especially prominent in helping to solve problems or needs in the community in which it operates, city or region, having awareness of the importance of small initiatives and the development of local communities they are not at the heart of events, trying to enable them to breathe new life and activism.
